With watercolour she expresses herself, her moods... without words and brings out the warmth and radiance of luminosity trough her subjects even in a cloudy setting. She will make you feel the wind, the fog, the hot humidity of the sea breeze coming in, the depth of the foliage or the texture of bark.
As a child, she is exposed to art and photography at her father's store, Art & Photo, and after experimenting with other mediums, she chooses watercolour for its brilliance, transparency, purity and challenges.
Trough photography, she learned to see and describe the brightness of light, shade, bringing out a wide range of delicate nuances. Her photos are the source of her inspiration and subjects. Her watercolours are the result of her meticulous choice of pigments to render texture or silkyness, pure whites or luminous darks.
In 1994 she founded her art school to teach watercolour in her atelier at home to small groups. She lives in Sherbrooke, Québec
